Journal hosting and ISSN support for departments
A departmental journal usually fails for the same reasons: the editorial board has the scholarship and the reviewers, but the production work falls to whoever has time that semester. Issues slip, then stop.
WAPP takes on that half of the work. We set up and run the editorial workflow, administer peer review, handle ISSN registration, typeset and produce each issue, and host the journal as open access with stable, citable article pages.
The department keeps everything that matters academically — the editorial board, the scope, the standards and the final say on what is published.
We are currently onboarding partner journals for the coming academic year. Departments and faculties considering launching a journal, or reviving one that has lapsed, are welcome to get in touch.
