WAPP is hosting a practical webinar for early-career researchers, postgraduate students and lecturers preparing work for peer-reviewed publication.
The session covers structuring a research paper that reviewers can follow, writing an abstract that earns a reading, choosing an appropriate journal and avoiding predatory ones, preparing a submission to a journal's author guidelines, and reading and responding to reviewer reports without losing the argument.
The format is practical rather than theoretical, with worked examples drawn from real submissions and time set aside for questions at the end.
Attendance is free. Registration details are circulated to partner institutions and are available from the WAPP secretariat on request.
